No cars, less carbon

posted in Cars |

With the new Ikea store, once again the Planning and Roads Services have shot themselves in their carbon feet!

They preach carbon reduction, but with bare-faced hypocrisy set minimum numbers of car parking spaces.

No car parking should be the sustainable norm for commercial developments, especially those out of town, with total dependency being on public transport.

A spin-off would be the survival of our High Street shops.
